    Hi,
    I have made all relevant settings in Seo yoast for – Index follow.

    But in my source code I see only the the meta tag:
    <meta name=”robots” content=”noodp”/>

    If I activate it or not (noodp), it is still here, but I can’t see the meta for
    <meta name=”robots” content=”index, follow” />

    Should I enter the code manually in the header?
    Where is this row of Seo Yoast entered in the source code?

    THANK YOU!!

    The index,follow tag is the default meta robots setting, thus there’s no need to explicitly add it.

    Thank you!
    But what shoud I do with the <meta name=”robots” content=”noodp”/> in the header?
    It changes nothing, if I activate or deactivate it in the settings of seo yoast.

    Yoast SEO automatically adds the noodp tag whenever you’ve set a meta description template or manually set a meta description on the item.

    Thank You!!!

    I would say this is no longer resolved, the Open Directory Project closed in March 2017… thus there is no need to have noodp or nodir any longer, these tags are redundant and I would have thought it wise to replace with ‘index,follow’ – thoughts?
