I updated to WordPress 6.3 today and decided to play around with the settings and patterns.

I should know better by now. My post editor is now messed up. The 3 dot menu where you can access preferences on the right no longer opens. Clicking on a block no longer brings up that block’s quick settings (So I can’t change the text in a paragraph block or click on an image to replace it.

Unfortunately for all of us, though mostly me, I have no idea what I did. Also, I use AISEO and at the top right there’s a box with a score for the headline and another with the post’s SEO score. Now only the Headline Analyzer box is there and all of the different options to change the title or description, and enter focus keywords, are gone.

My site is a news site so I need to post articles constantly. I was editing my About Us page to try out a header block, but it ended up looking completely different on the front end, so I deleted it.

Please help me and assistant, Simba!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @thezanyprogressive I took a look at your website, I noticed you are using the bimber theme for your news website.

    1. You mentioned the menu not being clickable or the doesn’t popup. Please double check if the primary menu is activated for mobile.
    1. Login to Your WordPress Dashboard: Open your web browser and enter the URL of your WordPress website followed by “/wp-admin” (e.g., https://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin). This will take you to the WordPress login page. Enter your username and password to log in.
    2. Navigate to the “Appearance” Section: After logging in, you’ll be directed to the WordPress Dashboard. On the left-hand side, you’ll see a vertical menu. Hover your cursor over the “Appearance” option. This will expand a submenu.
    3. Click on “Menus”: In the “Appearance” submenu, click on the “Menus” option. This will take you to the Menu editing page.
    4. Choose a Menu to Edit (Optional): If your website has multiple menus, you’ll see them listed on this page. Select the menu you want to edit by clicking on its name.
    5. Add or Edit Menu Items: On the Menu editing page, you’ll see two main sections: “Edit Menus” and “Menu Settings.” In the “Edit Menus” section, you can add or edit menu items.
      • Add Pages, Posts, or Custom Links: On the left side, you’ll find options to add pages, posts, custom links, and more to your menu. Select the items you want to add, and click the “Add to Menu” button.
      • Rearrange Menu Items: You can rearrange the order of menu items by dragging and dropping them within the “Edit Menus” section.
      • Edit Menu Items: Click on a menu item to expand its settings. You can edit the navigation label, title attribute, and more. You can also remove items by clicking the “Remove” link.
    6. Configure Menu Settings: In the “Menu Settings” section, you can assign the menu you’re editing to specific locations on your website theme. The available locations depend on your theme. Typically, they include primary menu, secondary menu, footer menu, etc.
    7. Save Your Menu: After making changes to your menu items and settings, make sure to click the “Save Menu” button to save your changes.
    8. View Your Menu on Your Website: Visit your website to see the changes you’ve made to the menu. The updated menu should now be visible in the designated location on your website.

    2. I believe your AISEO?panel would be collapsed somewhere on the page you just need to search for it. Do you prefer using the block editor or classic editor?
