I love this plugin

Not affiliated with the makers of this but I use it on a daily basis. I just think back to before I was able to migrate sites so easily, it really has saved me so much time. I know there are lots of similar plugins out there these days, but this one is the best. I purchased the Unlimited extension and at one stage I purchased the multisite extension, it was expensive but worth it, the plugin has likely literally given me weeks of my life back to me at this stage.

If you import some huge unweildy site and it stalls or doesn’t seem to import properly, it often is actually fine – it will seem like a fail but usually (almost always in my experience) the problem is sorted by disabling SEO plugins rather than some database failure or partial fail of import. I use the plugin numerous times daily. If your installation hangs at the end, just give it ten minutes, and start killing plugins and turn on debugging and you’ll soon see the issue. Start with SEOPress or Yoast….99% this will sort it!!
