• 5 stars. The classic bloc should be kept for a while, as long as the RTL and LTR text option is not available. But don’t listen to the oldtimers who are screaming for the old editor… they are simply unable to adapt and go forward for something better.

  • You mean the old-timers who learned how to code before you could google everything?? The ones who have had to learn, and re-learn every language and platform since the early 90s? Yeah, those guys are idiots!

Hey now, there are plenty of us old timers who wrote COBOL and RPG code back in the 1970’s and have updated languages for decades who have switched to Gutenberg with enthusiasm.

Those are some very true words @justmicros. I wonder how many of the 2000+ 1-star reviews and people who hopped on every good review to trash it donated to the WordPress Foundation cos the last time I checked WordPress was still free.

Some of us put our money were our mouths are, but most just give out that free-talk. Cheap.

The whole Gutenberg drama reminds me a lot of teenagers who complain about online games changing things around to a game that’s free to play. These bad boys and crazy sons of guns should all switch to Known and leave progress to the ones who have been leading the pack since the web was only for geeks.
