I lost footer visibility

    I thoroughly mucked up the footer credit section. On the bottom left where the Worpress.org and Pique Theme credits were, I accidentally deleted that information. I had inserted a dynamic copyright HTML code and immediately saved it. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize I removed the necessary code to actually show the copyright information.

    At this point, I’ll take the original code and try to figure it out for myself – I just need the original code lol.

    I’m using this guide to create the dynamic copyright.

    Anyway, they said I only have to implement this code into the footer.php file since I put the first part in the functions.php file as instructed on the page.

    <?php create_copyright(); ?>

    But yeah, I totally screwed myself trying to figure out html coding. One of these days, it’ll all make sense to me!

    Hi there, I would suggest downloading the theme, open that zip file and then replace the file that you modified with the original.

    If you have not yet done so, I would suggest creating a child theme so that any customizations you make will not be overwritten by theme updates.

    Hey again!

    Thank you very much! I’ll check into the child themes stuff soon! Right after I figure out how to get Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to work together. A blogger’s work is never done!
