I LOST A FULL NIGTH OF WORK THANKS TO THIS PLUGIN

  • Who the h… puts a confirmation notice on a save button that looks exactly like the button you just pressed? there is no indication whatsoever that there is an notice telling you to check your changes before saving, so now you have to press publish twice to get your page or post published, guess who lost a full nigth of work because of that? seriously thanks Guttemberg thanks.

    Losing your work is definitely a frustrating experience. To confirm, are you saying you pressed publish and then had to press save? This usually occurs when a block pattern or template is altered– is that what you were adjusting? Regardless of that, you should receive a warning when you try to close the unsaved tab. Are you saying that you did not receive the notice when trying to close the tab?

    Maybe he pressed publish and then proceeded to switching off the computer, in which case the warning is useless.

    Maybe he even saw the warning but dismissed it becuse he thought it to be a bug as he was convinced that he just published the post.

    Who the h… writes the whole night without saving?
    Your content for sure is in revisions saved automatically. Don’t blame the software if you can’t save your work.
