I lost 2fa app and backup code

I created this new account today to get in and send some questions to support because I haven’t found any phone number to dial, if there is any please let me know.

There is no one to call and if anyone contacts you from these forums, please ignore that and report them. I’ll promptly ban their account.

What plugin are you using for that 2FA part?

I’m using Google Auth . that’s my problem, there is no backup .
I know that creating a new account is not the right way but when I tried to open a ticket asking for help wordpress asked me for authentication that I can’t do that.

I’m really lost .. I don’t know how to get in on my acount , who I can call or ask to reset 2FA on my account.. I’m really desasperated .

If you could give any help or way to solve or email or call anybody will help me a lot, otherwise I will lost my other account.

After solve this issue for sure we can delete this account.. I just used because I did know what to do.

Jan, is it possible to worpress support to chek if my cel phone number is correct?
my complete number is [reacted] .. just came on my my that I could missed to include country code when I registered in wordpress … is not common to us to use the country code on our recordings , so I could missed that when I did the registering process .

Delete the Google Auth plugin from wp-content/plugins, either via FTP or your hosting control panel’s file manager app.

I have check on my blog wp-admin plugins, laso I have checked on control panel’s file manager, but I have no Google Auth in wp-content/plugins ??

Is there any way that I can check?

the only Google I have in plugins is Google Analytics

OK, then, how did you enable 2FA on your site? It’s not a core feature.

when I go to https://minutodaseguranca.blog.br/wp-login.php, I don’t see a Google Auth field.

Steven, I’m using 2fA to have access to wordpress.com . When I’m logged in my site admin minutodaseguranca.blog.br/wp-admin and I click on the top left to manage my wordpress account I was redirected to wordpress.com site where i need to log in with my user “[redacted]” there I need to have the 2FA … the problem is that the text SMS is not getting to my cel phone.

I’m also afraid that the phone number used could be [ Redacted, support is not offered via email, Skype, instant messenger, etc. ] that is a fixed line not a cel phone and does not bellong to me anymore , it was from my old house some year ago. So, it it is the number registered I never will receive the SMS.

Is your blog installed on WordPress.COM? It’s an important question.

Did you set that up through Jetpack? Try disabling it. Rename wp-content/plugins/jetpack to wp-content/plugins/jetpack-fff

@sterndata Steven, I have renamed. It is not asking me for 2FA Google Auth, but is asking me for Text Code or SMS code, that I haven’t either !

What plugins do you have installed?

But talking to my host support, the problem seems to be to log in www.remarpro.com account… I’m talking in the forrum, but is there any support email directly from www.remarpro.com to try to disable the 2FA authentication ?
