I like this theme, but I have a question…

  • I built a child theme based on this one as I walked through the Lynda course.

    But does this theme ever get updated?

    The reason I ask is because the default WordPress themes are sometimes updated, so I assume that theme updates are necessary. (Are they?)

    In the year or so that I’ve used this theme, it has never asked me to update.

    …I wonder if I should’ve used one of the default WordPress themes instead, because they’re updating all the time…?

    (As you can tell, I’m not so technically inclined.)

    Am I worrying over nothing?
