• One being Local by Flywheel which they are working on. Another being if you run Wordfence 2 factor auth. It forces the backup to fail and while I understand you can turn it off and the backup will succeed this does not work.

There are other plugins I tried with two factor and they had zero problem with the backup, so for me until patched this is a no. I would love to update this in the future when they come up with some updates that address these problems.

    Overall, has potential.

    Hi @forcedlogic,

Thank you for your feedback and continued attention & support to WPvivid Backup Plugin!

    Just to clarify,

    1.Wordfence

WPvivid backup plugin has zero problem running backups with Wordfence.
Only when you are moving over the Wordfence, you may run into the PHP Fatal error: Failed opening required wordfence-waf.php which is a long-standing problem from Wordfence side.
Here is a WordFence doc explaining why the error happens and how to deal with it.

There are other plugins I tried with two factor and they had zero problem with the backup,

We know some plugins work because they don’t restore WordPress core.

    2. Local by Flywheel

Regarding Local by Flywheel, our plugin has some compatibility issues with local by flywheel at this moment and we are working on it and will fix it in a future release. I will let you know as soon as it’s fixed.

Again, thank you for pointing these out and we know you want it to be better.

    Regards,
    WPvivid Team
