I KILLED MY PAGE – internal server 500 error

    I was trying to install Hello Bar (unsuccessfully several times) and the last time I tried to follow the directions, I saved my changes and my website won’t even load now and I can’t even get to a page to edit it.
    It said to install this code at the bottom of footer.php and at first it didn’t do anything and now NOTHING will load.

    Please help!!!!! I’m panicking and my whole blog is down.

  • FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the plugin’s folder inside wp-content/themes.

    Thank you! Except…. I don’t know what that means. I’m sorry! I’m still extremely knew at this so I probably shouldn’t have been messing with it in the first place.
    I have Blue Host – So I would do it through there?

    Yes. Try asking for your hosts’ assistance, if necessary.
