I just want to show three posts on my front page..

Hi. I love this plug in..anyways i would like to feature three of my 41 posts on the front page and not more than that. I got 3 to show but there are also numbers on bottom to go see more posts and it turns out to be like 14-15 extra pages which i dont need or want. I just want users to see the first three and nothing else. How can i do this? Thanks you!
