• I didn’t hear about how Yoast had handed over this plugin to Monster Analytics. With this latest update there was suddenly an unfamiliar icon annoyingly placed right up the top above anything else, and the menus in it are completely corrupted and full of gibberish so I didn’t want to click it in case I ran a payload.

Ironically for an SEO company, when you put ‘monster insights’ or ‘yoast monster insights’ into Google nothing comes up so it took me a few panicked minutes to figure out what was going on.

Thanks to Syed too ?? Really I think it should have been Yoast that should have informed us/put a message into the plugin in a release before it switched over.

Just took your update on Google Analytics by MonsterInsights. All the issues have been nicely addressed – thank you. Just noticed that I had another Update and when I checked I apparently have New Translations available. I’ve never seen that before. My reading suggests that Translations are automatically updated. Strange. Is that a side effect of the earlier update?

Well done! Now it’s a simple email to clients that their analytics just moved down a bit and was renamed. Thanks for your quick work and updates!

Nicely done, thanks for the updates.

This is so much better. I am relieved.

Thanks a ton for being receptive and iterating so fast. We appreciate it!

I’d actually like the color back (maybe slightly more muted than the original). ?? IMO, all this mono-color ‘flat’ stuff, especially for icons in toolbars and such, will (hopefully) be a short-lived fashion. But whether it stays or goes, it’s bad UX/UI.

    Not a problem guys.

Looking forward to helping this plugin continue to move forward, fixing the existing bugs and adding user-requested features.

For the sake of organization, and to ensure this doesn’t become a never ending thread, I’m going to close it.
