I have too many comment boxes showing up in the blog. Please help.

  • Hello.
    A while ago I modified something in the wordpress editor to make a comment box show up after every comment. Now, I have multiple comment boxes after every post and I have decided I want to get rid of them. BUT, the problem is I can’t remember what it is I changed. I have looked in the comments.php file and didn’t recognize anything. If someone could take a look at it and give me a suggestion, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry, I meant show up after every post, not after every comment.

    does this mean that you only want the comment form to show in the single post view? i.e. after someone clicked on the post title or comment-link of the post(s) on the front page?

    if so, edit (probably) index.php (the template that shows your front page) and look for comments_template(); (possibly just before the endwhile of the loop); and remove it.
