I have to complete the slug of the ad

    Hi, I hope I’m not boring you with all my questions.

    I wanted to ask you how I can activate these two% advert_category% and% advert_location% in the slug of the single ad.

    I absolutely need it, I managed to solve some problems and I’m ready to give you a hand sending you the codes, so that you will not lose useless time ??

    But this thing I really need, I tried but without success. Only you can do it because you are the author of the plugin and know what you did.

    Those two taxonomies do not work if I add them to the permalink, it’s not normal, they usually work on other sites I’ve worked on.

    I ask you please if you can tell me how to do this. I appreciate you and I appreciate your plugin and if I can in anything I will help you. Italian language, file for function.php that help to make the selection of the dynamic categories, plugin that activates the shortcodes on the custom fields created with your custom field add-on. I managed to do these things working in this week-end. I hope you appreciate it

    I am using the Custom Post Type Permalinks plugin on my dev site right now and i customized Advert permalinks to look like this /%advert_category%/%advert_location%/%postname%/.

    When i access one of Ads the URL in the browser is https://localhost/advert/cars/new-york/test-2/ so it seems to be working fine for me.

    It seems not to replace the taxonomies only if neither Location or Category is selected.

    ok I was using simple post permalink and the taxonomies did not work from there.

    While instead with the custom plugin post permalink all taxonomies work but you have to correct something.

    For example, the location gives me country, region and city, to me it serves only to show the city in permalink. Which is the one that is selected when you place an ad.

    Then the word classified is set initially without the ability to remove it, I do not need this to remove it.

    The categories are fine.

    I think we are on the right track to solve this problem. I just need you telling me how to make these changes

    ok i understand how edit “classified” slug, but i need delete it. No need it in permalnk.

    And i want show only city in advert_location and all is well

    Ok listen with your plugin i have so much limitations and you no answer here to my request. Is fundamental for me that option.

    i am not sure what do you mean? I actually replied to over 35 questions and requests you had and the vast majority of them were resolved?

    In either case, if you are not satisfied with the plugin and cannot use it email me your order number using contact form here https://wpadverts.com/contact/ i will issue a refund.

    As for the permalink customization, if i remember correctly you wanted the Advert Location permalink to be a path like https://example.com/advert-location/italy/milan/, so in the custom permalinks also a path is being used, you cannot have it both ways as far as i know, but you can double check with Custom Post Types Permalinks plugin support.
