I have subdomain url problem

    I have a website named thetops10.com and i hava created a subdomain also. but when i give link to the subdomain site in the main menu and the widget section…in “USA Web Stories” anchor text then it redirect to my subdomain but with a various other charecters.

    cover.thetops10.com transfrom into https://cover.thetops10.com/?_ga=2.211533269.1797346272.1648128510-1149823725.1636897826 when i click “USA web stories” anchor text on main site thetops10.com. How do I fix it and why it happen?

    although custom linking in menu are perfect.

    No no….its not web stories problem….its regarding subdomain liking from main website..

    @ritwikghosh60 thanks for confirming but I am still a little unsure on what the exact issue is here would you be able to explain in more detail and perhaps provide some steps to show how you get to this issue?

    Is this an issue with the Site Kit plugin on your site? I ask as we are limited to Site Kit support here and I am unsure where your Site Kit comes into this currently.

    I create a custom link on my main website and give a link towards my subdomain. But when I click the link to visit on my subdomain homepage then i go there but link is huge big and it shows the ?_ga(………. ) i mention it before that url….but i want it to just my subdomain.

    @ritwikghosh60 thanks for the further information. The likely reason your urls are fixed with ‘?_ga‘ is because you are cross domain tracking. This Analytics Help Center question may help to explain this further for you.

    This is not something that Site Kit implements so we are unable to provide support for this but I would advise if you need further explanation or help with this to look through the Analytics Help Center where you will be able to find more resources on this.
