  • Hey @cpascalweb,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

I followed this tutorial by turning off:
    https://wpforms.com/docs/setup-form-notification-wpforms/

Since I can no longer access the site I have this message:

Um, we can’t find this site.

Unable to connect to the server at http: //www.etc…

If the address is correct, here are three other things you can try to do:

    Try again later.
Check your connection to the network.
If you are connected through a firewall, verify that Firefox has permission to access the web.

I tried to delete the WPForms tables from the database but still cannot access my site.

    Please help me

These “tables” remain in my database, I don’t know if I should delete them

I recovered my site by disabling WPFORMS by FTP by renaming the wpforms folder with **

I just reinstalled your plugin and I still don’t receive the form but it saves them in my database ??

with Contact Form 7 I receive the email in a few seconds : )

with WPFORMS I receive no emails ??

    Why please?

The concern comes from WPFORMS : (

I have a form that I want but I will have to look for another plugin that I hope will do the same form even if I have to pay

    Hey @cpascalweb,

I apologize that you’re still having some email delivery issue going on.

When you have sometime, could you please configure the WP Mail SMTP plugin and one of the recommended mailers? I think that should fix the issue for you of email delivery.

In case it helps, we have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials here.

    Thanks!

    Hello

I had already try to use WP Mail SMTP plugin, you won’t help me there ??

Not nice, I permanently delete your plugin

    cordially

    Hello @cpascalweb,

I apologize for any confusion that my previous message might have caused!

I definitely want to help you out, however, setting up the WP Mail SMTP with the mailers has to be done by you on the website. I think you might have been using the default WordPress mailers in the WP Mail SMTP plugin, which is the reason why you were still having some email delivery issues. In case it helps, the default WordPress mailer is not quite reliable in delivering emails, which is the reason why we suggest our users consider using one of the listed mailers in the WP Mail SMTP plugin.

I’m sorry to see you go – please let me know if there is anything else we can do to win you back as a user in the future! ??

    Thanks!

    Hello @prashantrai

I have installed Contact Form 7 I receive emails without any problem, no need to install SMTP.

For 3 days I have been testing MailPoet which works perfectly well

I find it a shame (really), I was used to WPForms but … it made me lose clients : (

And follow-up isn’t that much (sorry)

    Thank you anyway, good luck

    Hello @cpascalweb,

I apologize for all the trouble and I’m taking your feedback and will be discussing it internally in our next team meeting.

    Thanks!
