    Hi I have moved to a new host 1and1 internet. They have set everything up for me but we get the following message. If I could access the dashboard I could disable the plugin that is causing the problem but I am not able to.

    Warning: require_once(/homepages/34/d427221997/htdocs/website/Backup /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/spam-free-wordpress/includes/functions.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/34/d427221997/htdocs/website/Backup /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/spam-free-wordpress/tl-spam-free-wordpress.php on line 79

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/homepages/34/d427221997/htdocs/website/Backup /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/spam-free-wordpress/includes/functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php5′) in /homepages/34/d427221997/htdocs/website/Backup /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/spam-free-wordpress/tl-spam-free-wordpress.php on line 79

    Can you suggest anything?

    Helen

  • So you have a plugin called “Spam Free WordPress” or something of the like, and it’s causing the website to crash.

    The simplest way to fix this is to login to your FTP, access wp-content -> plugins and rename the folder of this plugin to “SpamFreeWordpress1”, until you figure out what the issue is after logging in to the dash.

    Can you advise again?

    Thanks

    Helen

    Your backup from your old host was incorrectly restored to your new host, I am pretty sure whomever did it make a mistake as you can see here:

    "/homepages/34/d427221997/htdocs/website/Backup /httpdocs/wp-content/themes/twentyeleven/inc/theme-options.php"

    Notice the space between /Backup and /httpdocs. I think the backup path has been concatenated to the current path.

    You are probably better off doing the restore from your old hosts backup again from scratch.

    No need to worry. contact your host provider they will do it
