    I need some help with this site https://jaysautocollision.ca/ . I added a new page and somehow broke the site’s theme – the gray background is now not on all pages and on the home page, the menu background is no longer gray.

    How can I update the site so that the background gray color is consistent on all the pages?

    Hi silvergs,

    It looks like your website is using one Hifidel, one of our Classic themes, and you should be able to change the page background color by making some adjustments to the palette selections in the Colors section of the theme Customizer.

    The fourth option in the Hifidel color palette is used as the page background color and changing that to the appropriate gray should give you the more consistent design that you are looking for.

    Hi Joseph,

    I tried what you recommended, however I either don’t understand your explanation or what I’m doing is totally wrong

    I still haven’t been able to fix the site. Is there anything else you can suggest to be more specific as I probably don’t understand your instructions clearly.

    Also would updating the Hifidel theme from the current 1.25.7 to 1.25.9 fix the issue or break my site?

    Hi @silvergs,

    I saw that our support team responded to your ticket on our website with the fix for this problem and I wanted to post the solution here just in case any other users run into a similar issue.

    It looks like the caching plugin installed on your website was preventing the correct styles from rendering properly and once that plugin was deactivated the website started displaying as expected.
