    hi
    i use ithemes security on my site, and all is updated. the last week i get emails with site lockout (but i did login). today i wasn’t able to login into my site. luckily i created another admin user, so i am in. i have disabled the plugin.

    what is wrong? or what can i do to use the plugin, but without blocking me from my site?

    Hi @derrida,

    Could you please add your IP address to the “Authorized Hosts” list found in Security > Settings > Configure > Global Setting to prevent your IP from being locked out from your site? Please let me know how it goes.

    thank you, i can login now

    I’ve just had the same problem. Tried to login as the other admin but got the locked out message. Is there anything else I can do?

    Hi @derrida, glad to hear that!

    Hi @kelifernie,

    The temporary lockouts are set to last for 15?mins by default. If you’re still locked out, please try adding the code below on your wp-config.php file just above the line that says, “That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging.”:

    define('ITSEC_DISABLE_MODULES', true);

    This code temporarily disables all iThemes Security features.

    Once inside, please add your IP address to the “Authorized Hosts” list to avoid getting locked out again. I hope this helps!
