  • Is it possible to install, and run WordPress on a server that uses ACCESS or SQL, instead of MySQL?

    My server refuses to use MySQL.

  • No, you have to have MySQL.

    I gather this is a windows host?

    WordPress needs MySQL to run. You may be able to modify the database calls but you’ve got a long job ahead of you.

    edit: Wasn’t there a port once of wordpress to MSSQL?
