i have a problem with domain mapping

  • You forgot the part in Otto’s tutorial where you go to your webhost and park the domain.

    You have to tell your webhost where to send requests for the domain. Otherwise it just sits there.

    so, domain parked on my webhost. Not working. I need to configure something else. When i type clientdomain1.com redirect me to the master site of my webhost not to my client1’s blog

    What kind of control panel do you have? In technical terms, you need to create a ServerAlias that tells the webserver to send requests for that domain to your install.

    in my webhost admin panel i have a DNS section. In this section is Alias CNAME form with ALIAS and NAME box. This is it?

    no, those are the DNS records. Did you make a CNAME at the domain *registrar*?

    And when you parked the domain, does that mean, yes you have cpanel?
