I have a plugin deactivating itself with no error or update !!!

  • The plugin that is in doubt is called Post Page Associator. It’s a great plugin for what we need so I don’t want to trash it. The author of the plugin told me today that he has no idea why it would deactivate itself. I checked if there was anything link an auto-update that could be throwing it off and didn’t find anything. Once it is reactivated, anything is ok. Any feedback would be appreciated including any ideas to keep a plugin running no matter what perhaps using a script or another plugin.

    I thought of that. But can a plugin deactivate another if there are no commands to do that? I can try to deactivate other plugins but the problem has been random. I’d never if it was truly related.

    WordPress can deactivate a plugin in some cases of incompatibility. I was wondering if a conflict with another plugin was triggering this.
