I have a hard time understanding what WP is.

  • Can someone tell me if WP is a server side blogger? Basically, I want my users to be able to register on my site and create their own blogs. I’ve downloaded WP and tested it, but It’s very confusing. In the user menu, I add authors and users were able to post to my blog… what am I missing?

    WordPress isn’t that. If you want something along those lines, in PHP, you might try Drupal, though it’s not exactly aimed at being blog-hosting-in-a-box.

    Yeah, this is not what you’re looking for.
    I’m presently offering Weblogs for users of my site, and every time someone signs up, I get to spend 15 minutes putting it together for ’em.
