I hate this plugin. Firstly I tried to save my template, then copy it to another email, then I found out I copied another email to my already made template so I lost it. There is no Step back button what is the worst part on this.

Second time when I recreated my whole template, I saved it, exported it and moved to another email by copying correctly. When I edited whole 2nd email and saved it, I checked the first email and it was changed back to default template!!! So I exported the 2nd email too so I would save it and could get back to it … I came to the first email and imported the export file. And then the biggest surprise … both of the exports didnt work, it exported default template so I lost my whole 10hours work!!!!!!

I dont know where is the problem, I have never experienced such a problem in my 5y experiences with wordpress. Its weird and soooo annoying and making me so much angry!

How to fix this? As much as I am angry I still want it to work because its awesome plugin if it could work. But this got me to my knees.

    Hello @drachires

Sorry to hear your issues and thanks for your feedback, it’s useful for us improving the plugin.

For your first issue. We will do undo and redo function in next update.

For your second issue. I don’t see that issue in my side. Can you make a screencast so we can easy to check it? Please make sure you disable all plugins except YayMail and WooCommerce for tesing.

    Best regards,
    Tommy

I think my issue was probably caused because I edited the template for a long period of time and maybe some nonces got expired or something like that, but I saw the successful saving message previously too, so not sure where is the problem.

Now the saving and exporting are working partially. 1. I can’t successfully save the translation/edit of order table texts. After editing and saving, when I refresh the editor or go to another template and back, it gets lost. 2. I also can’t edit the “Shipping method” text because it’s not in the options as well as the text “Order #”.

The Polylang implementation is quite useless or not complete because you can’t copy templates from one language to another which is too much work when you have to start the templates from scratch for all languages.

And hopefully, for the edit back function, you can take it even further and make History function, but it’s not necessary.

Thank you for improving the product and fast response.

And please change that Copy button logic or at least rename it to Import template from … its confusing

    Hi @drachires ,

    1. You mentioned “translation” here, may I know if you are running a multilingual site with a plugin, please?

And, are you using the PRO-version or free version of YayMail?

    2. Please note that, not all the order table items are editable, the whole table is a WooCommerce element, so we are only trying hard to see how possible to alter all.

    3. The feature to have the ability to copy templates from one language to the other is already on our roadmap.

4 “And hopefully, for the edit back function, you can take it even further and make History function, but it’s not necessary.”

==> Well noted! And to spice things up, you can even add your suggestion here:

    5. “And please change that Copy button logic or at least rename it to Import template from … its confusing”

==> We already have one import function, we should not have a second import option, right. If you tell me what is confusing you exactly, maybe we can work something else out.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,

    5. Confusing is that if you click Copy, you are expecting to copy the template you are editing right now to some other template. (or at least you don’t know if it is from the current template to another or vice versa). So it needs to be stated with texting correctly at least. Something like “Copy template from” … Because I was expecting to be copying my new template to other emails but I overrode my current template so I lost few hours of figuring everything up and working on it

    2. These 2 texts are the only remaining texts. I think they are also editable with Polylang so maybe it’s okay.

    1. Yes with Polylang Pro

    3. Hopefully it will be done asap ??

    4. Done … I made a suggestion, also hopefully it will be done asap ??

    Hi @drachires ,

    5. The one in Green highlight is OK, right! Just the red needs something more clarifying, right?

    2. Glad to know!

    1. I mean, do you use YayMail-PRO ?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,
