• Having those dynamic block is in a way nice for writing but the overall framework of of the editor seems messed up. Some Questions:

    – where can I add the categories, tags etc??
    – why WP bakery visual composer doesnt work anymore?
    – why editing perma links now has to be so complicated

Click Settings (or Ctrl + Alt + ,), click on Document tab and there you’ll find those sections, and much more.

Please read this note from WP Bakery.

Don’t know what method you are using but to edit a permalink is really easy; you have two ways to do it:

    • First is to click on the post title: that will show an edit box with the permalink, click “Edit” button (you’ll find it to the right), do your editing, press “Save” when done.
    • Or you can click on Settings, click on Document tab, then find the Permalink section, it works as always.

Now, my advise is to calm down, explore and learn the Gutenberg ways to do things; my honest opinion is that is pretty easy, and you can get much better results than before.

    Hope it helps.

I am sorry Sir, but it’s way more clicking then before! Everything seems to be hidden behind interactive panels that need to be opened.

Another anoying thing is that pressing tab (for example in the date planning section) isn’t available for “month” so i need to click and select the month with mouse movement, before i could just press tab and scroll down to the according month, which was way faster.

Final Publishing or Planning a post needs two extra clicks, because a panel opens for final publishing and needs to be closed afterwards.

I don’t know how you do your blogging, but the new editor is not intuitive!
