I had major PROD issues installing 3.0.6

    I installed the Yoast SEO 3.0.6 update last night at around 7:30pm and the CPU usage of my site climbed steadily until I had some major issues this morning when my traffic spiked. I had to rebuild my AWS box from an image as it became unresponsive but when I rebuilt it from the image the problem was still there until I downgraded Yoast SEO from 3.0.6 to 3.0.5. Now everything is fine. Note that the ONLY thing that changed on my website was the Yoast plugin going from 3.0.5 -> 3.0.6. I hope this is useful to someone!

    OK, this is one of those times where a major DoS attack coincides with the same time as you upgrade a plugin. Ignore EVERYTHING I have written previously.
