It’s great to see that this plugin has been revived.

However, it’s really disappointing to see so many unresolved support issues, and no sign of any of the four developers of this plugin here in over 72 days.

Not only that, the last post by a developer here suggested that a “pro” (that means “paid”) version might be in the works.

It might be a better idea to get the bugs and features of this version worked out and ready for prime time – before going pro.

It doesn’t look to me like it is worth the time to get invested in this plugin until it’s current issues are resolved.

  • I agree. This plug in fails in so many ways, it has turned me off from exploring other NextGEN products such as their Professional photographers blog packages.

I really think NextGen is a great product.

But… without a reliable public uploader I need to look for another solution for my websites that are community/social based.

I’ve just started checking out the “BuddyPress Media” plugin

Looks like a very nice solution for BuddyPress sites ??
