    Hi,

    Every 5 minutes or so I get the same email notification that someone (always the same name and emailaddress) has registered on the website, but there is nothing to approve or reject.

    These notifications are sent each time to mulitple (4) emailaddresses! So there are 4 emails every 5 minutes, 24/7!

    How to get this stopped???

    Can you provide the email subject and/or messaging in the email body? Trying to determine if this is an email coming from BPRO, or perhaps WP/BuddyPress core, since all have their own emails that get sent out.

    The message below is sent every 5 minutes to 4 emailaddresses:

    [email protected] ( [email protected] ) has registered for an online working spot on the website.
    Go to Member Requests to approve or reject this registration.

    I have deactivated your plugin, and the emails stopped.

    But… there is another email that is still sent every 5 minutes, but to 1 emailadress only:

    Dear website administrator,
    A new registration for an online working spot has been requested.
    Go to Users- Pending to approve or reject this registration.

    This last email still comes every 5 minutes. But there is nothing pending.

    Couple thoughts.

    1. Can you confirm that you customized the messaging for the email subjects/bodies? Trying to make sure things are likely matching up.

    2. At least at the moment, it’s not so much that BuddyPress Registration Options is spamming per say, it’s just that for whatever reason, the site seems to be getting bombarded by email registrations at the moment. We don’t catch “spammy” registrations or prevent that type of detail, we’re more access prevention for certain areas after the registration and activation.

    What’s odd though is that apparently things aren’t getting done to the point of us having our user meta assigned to the users.

    I am wondering what the list at /wp-admin/users.php?page=bp-signups is looking like, which is from BuddyPress core, as opposed to our panel at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp_registration_options_member_requests
