  • Hey @zauroman – Thanks for reaching out!

I looked into the screenshot, and I noticed the scheduled actions for the form builder template cache update, and add-ons cache updates is getting failed. In case you’d like to know more about Action Scheduler is used in WPForms which WooCommerce also uses, please see our guide here.

That said, it looks like both actions are getting failed. When you have some time, can you please share a screenshot of the WordPress Settings > Site health as that would give us some clue if there’s any issue going with the Scheduled Action?

I installed your plugin and woocommerce 7.6.1 on a new site where there is nothing. The cron error is exactly the same, it’s something on the side of your plugin.

The error disappears after I deactivate woocommerce

I don’t understand how it will help me if I installed your plugin on a brand new site where there is nothing but wordpress and woocommerce? It doesn’t help me.

Hey @zauroman – Thanks for following on this ticket!

So far we haven’t been able to replicate the issue, however, we’re checking the issue you’ve reported with the Action Scheduler, and I’ll keep you posted with the findings.

    Kindly,

Hey @zauroman – I tested the issue you’re reported on my dev setup, and also checked with my colleagues, and we’re unable to replicate on our end. It seems that wp_cron might not be working properly or might be disabled on your server. In this case, i’d suggest you to please check with your hosting provider, and they should be able to assist you.

    Kindly,

Set these settings on the open server

On the side of my hosting everything is fine. All cron tasks work for me, except yours. I installed a new wordpress and woocommerce via open server. And I get the same crash in cron.

I’m not the only one getting this error! Please take a closer look at the situation and figure out what is going wrong on the side of your plugin.

Hey @zauroman – After carefully reviewing the screenshots you shared earlier, it appears that your host might be blocking the wp_cron functionality.

You also mentioned that the issue disappears when WooCommerce (WC) is deactivated. We’d like to inform you that both WPForms and WC rely on the Action Scheduler library, which in turn depends on wp_cron. This library helps schedule and execute various background processes.

We sincerely appreciate your patience as we investigated the issue further. Our team conducted extensive testing on multiple environments, but unfortunately, we were unable to reproduce the issue you encountered. Based on our findings, it is likely that the problem lies within the specific environments you have tested. It’s worth noting that some hosting providers disable or limit wp_cron for performance reasons.

In order to assist you better, we would like to encourage you to try testing the WPForms and WC integration on a local WordPress instance or a different environment altogether. By doing so, we can determine if the issue persists across various environments or if it is specific to your current setup. Testing in a different environment may help identify any potential conflicts or issues related to your hosting configuration.

Please let us know how it goes!

Hey @zauroman – We haven’t heard back from you since my previous message, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
