• Every time I search these forums for answers to problems, I run into the same three issues:

    1. No one has replied and the topic is closed.

    2. Someone has replied, but made the assumption that everyone reading it fully understands CSS and PHP and coding in general.

    3. I post something new, I get no answer, and no matter how I phrase my search, I find no reference.

I don’t know coding and don’t have time to learn it just to fix a few little bugs in WordPress, usually brought about by an updated plug-in.So I’ll just quit updating. I don’t have hours to explore the forums everytime something goes wrong.

There’s a new security release out. WordPress 3.1.2 You may want to upgrade.

I can try to help you. Just ask

If you don’t have time to learn and keep getting frustrated, you may want to move to wordpress.com.
At least there, the upgrading and heavy lifting is done for you.

If coding websites was easy, web designers and developers wouldn’t have a job.

Additionally, don’t forget that these forums are run by volunteers.

what experience are you basing your comment on?

    3. I post something new, I get no answer, and no matter how I phrase my search, I find no reference.

this is certainly not true in your case.
you only started two topics a year ago, with very generic questions, and did not give any essential information about your site.

web search results depend on the keywords used; if you find the returned references useful or not, depends on your ablility to recognize if they are applicable to your problem.
