• It’s 2020 and amid the darkness surrounding worldwide events we continue.
I want to continue with my woocommerce shop and understand such things as add to cart and initiate checkout.
I added google tag manager code myself. So with this plugin I would not need to do that OK.
I am looking to advertise with pinterest and that’s why I found this plugin but I want to ask and help promote this ‘stack’.

I added the pinterest base code with tag manager but when I come to the events I am stuck. I can add code to say someone got to pages ok as I can query the url and search for the right path such as ‘order-confirmed’..

I guess I am asking people more experienced about these events and more so how I can take things a step further and get into Universal Analytics creating professional analytics from within the google space enhanced drop offs etc.

So what does this plugin offer please.TY

    Hi,

Just to make sure I correctly understood your need: you would like to setup Pinterest tags for ecommerce actions like the add to cart and also populate product data like described on this page?

    Hi Thomas
I see the code snippets that I need to fire from the pinterest documentation yes. But I almost want the events to happen when the woocommerce event of adding to cart is actually fired.

So not navigating to the actual URL then checking the page. I have managed to setup these events using tag manager but it is always by inspecting the url contains query. For example I check for the page containing ‘thank-you’ to register a sale. I feel this is not the right way. Is this what your plugin does better?
