I am new to wordpress and many of the technical terms and shortcuts that come along with it. I am attempting to use WordPress as a content management system to build a website. I downloaded inove, a free theme and attempted to upload it. I then got a note on my administrator page saying I had a broken theme that was missing a style sheet or something to that effect. I am using a Mac and I am using cyberduck to upload the info to the host. I attempted to re-upload anything that mentioned style sheet and it did not work. I then decided to delete the whole theme since I did not want non functioning themes cluttering up my host and I guess I deleted all themes. Now my site is just a blank page. I do not know what to do. My only thought was t start over, reinstalling wordpress but I would like an easier way if there is one. I would love help resolving this in simple step by step terms since I am new to this. I am also wide open to any theme suggestions. Thank you.

  • Just upload the WordPress files again. You won’t need to do anything else since the database is all set up, and that upload will not overwrite the wp-config.php database connection file.

That gets you the default theme back again.
