i don’t want the blog as the homepage

    Is there any way to create a page in wordpress that will act as a home page, and then have the actual blog as a link from that page? Basically i want my domain barrymendel.com to be the home page without the blog on it. And then I want the blog to be a secondary page. Is there any way to do this inside of WordPress or do i have to code it myself?

    At least 3 plugins for “static homepage” + a lesson/article in the Codex about this.
