Sorry to hear of that warning message. Can you please share a copy of your System Status report as found under WooCommerce > Status > System status? Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Hi, this is from the live site. Woo 3.0 is being tested on staging site (and it's fine apart from those server error notices still happening even though the gateway still seems to fucntion normally. (The woocommerce shortcodes are actually on the WC pages, it's just that I'm using Elementor there so I guess it doesn't count them)

To clarify, these messages you’re seeing (sent in your first reply) are not errors. Rather, they’re notices letting you know that your site is not using the latest version of WooCommerce Blocks. To note, your site is currently using version 4.7.2.

You can safely ignore the messages, or you can install the latest version of the WooCommerce Blocks plugin, 5.2.0, which you can find here: WooCommerce Blocks.

Hi Rahul, but I’m not using ANY woocommerce blocks, or Gutenberg come to that. Both have been deactivated.

I’m trying to cut down on plugins I have around 40 when the 2 inactive ones are switched back on and I’m trying to dump some which isn’t easy as woo needs a lot to provide the functions large stores need.

As I’m not using blocks at all it seems bizarre to have to install another plugin for something not used. Ignoring the server errors warnings wouldn’t be an issue but it’s a pain having to keep deleting the error logs because it makes it harder to look for real errors when it’s full of those messages.

Please look at fixing this in the next update as it shouldn’t be giving warnings if blocks are not being used at all.

We’ve received a confirmation from the developers that indeed this error notification may be a bit confusing.

This error is essentially related to the Cart and Checkout block and it should not show unless the Cart and Checkout block is used.

Our developers are going to improve this error notification (and you’ll find more details here) by making it clear that this error is related to the Cart and Checkout blocks and it will not show unless WooCommerce Blocks plugin is installed (where Cart and Checkout blocks is part of the plugin).

As a temporary fix to prevent junk from being logged, you can change your PHP config to only log fatal errors by setting error_reporting to E_ERROR. Refer to documentation: https://www.php.net/manual/en/errorfunc.configuration.php#ini.error-reporting

If you can not change the PHP configuration on your hosting, you can try adding the following in your wp-config.php
ini_set('error_reporting', E_ERROR );
