I don’t understand

Hi,

The plugin displays all the categories in a dropdown. When you select a category from the dropdown, if the selected category has child categories, they are displayed in another dropdown below. Otherwise, you will be re-directed to the selected category.

If child categories are shown in the second dropdown, you can select one of the child categories and will be re-directed to that page.

I’m using this plugin in my site it works fine but there’s just one issue in this plugin when i select the -> parent category and it’s -> child category it goes to the product page but it’s not redirecting back to the main page this is the problem i’m facing any help will be appreciated.

I mean I just want to show categories from a specific category rather than every category in the whole website. It seems like there’s no plugins that let you pick a category in the Block (they all just show everything, but that is no use for different category structures like showing Hardware/ Software subcategories on their own sections), but I’ve use my own template code to do it manually now.

Once it goes to the category or sub category page, you will not be redirected back. You can have a back link on those pages to make it easy for the users to go back to the main page.

You can choose to display the categories from the post category or any other taxonomy. There is an option to choose that in the widget and the Gutenberg block. Not sure if this is what you are looking for.

You will need to add the link on the category pages either through a child theme or use another plugin.
