    Hi all.
I use your plugin and it converts more or less over 95% of all the images top webp.
But unfortunately I think something does not work as expected.

Requested URLs are still delivered as PNG.
The Google PageSpeed Tests are still showing, that images are not webp, are not coverted as good as possible, are to sized correctly.
    Example: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-fussmatten-king-de-shop-fussmatte-personalisiert/6vyn87jkxu?form_factor=mobile

Example in “Bilder in modernen Formaten bereitstellen”:

    <img width="800" height="800" src="https://fussmatten-king.de/wp-content/uploads/A_Kokos_Fussmatte_personalis…" class="attachment-woocommerce_thumbnail size-woocommerce_thumbnail" alt="Kokos Fu?matte Willkommen, Türmatte personalisiert mit Name" data-testid="product-image" style="max-width:none;object-fit:cover;" decoding="async" loading="lazy" srcset="https://fussmatten-king.de/wp-content/uploads/A_Kokos_Fussmatte_personalis…" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px">

    I’m using Cloudflare.
Can you check whether it is working correctly?
    Hope you can help me.

    Many thanks
    Lars

    Hi @diak911,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you have encountered a problem with our plugin.

The reports we receive very often do not concern a problem with the plugin operation, but problems with understanding how the plugin works. Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:
    https://mattplugins.com/docs/how-to-test-converter-for-media-plugin

The vast majority of files are available in WebP format, except for the two mentioned by PageSpeed ??Insight. This is because these images were not smaller than the original after conversion to WebP, and the original images are used.

However, we have a solution for this. I recommend you to try the AVIF format on your website. I did an analysis to learn more about the potential benefits of using the AVIF format for you. Images converted to the AVIF format on your website will weigh 78% less than images converted to WebP only, maintaining even better image quality. This will further improve the performance of your website and then all images should be available in next generation format.

If you have any other questions, please, feel free to reach out to me. We will try to help you.

    Best,
    Mateusz

will this work alongside imagify which automatically removes metadata upon upload?

@jbertrand3000 There is no point in using multiple plugins to optimize images. Please choose one plugin and use it.
