Well, I tried disabling “Fanpage Connect 2 FREE pluggin” menu setting wppizza come back.

So this is not compatible with wppizza.

not necessarily a compatibility problem with wppizza as such.

so it *may* just be the case that fanpage-connect just doesnt work with WP 3.8 (yet)
