Hello and thanks for any help in advance.

To give some context, i started the development of a website on a subdomain, through the platform Hostinger. Now i copied the website to another domain, and forminator is not working. When the user send a form, the form is filled out and appears on the forminator platform as received but the email is not sent.

I already tried with diferent emails. I think the problem is because the website was copied to another domain and some configurations need to be done.

Can anybody help me? Thanks for reading and for your help in advance!

    Hi @diomwbdv,

I hope you are keeping well and sorry to know that you are experiencing this issue.

Forminator uses the default WordPress function wp_mail() to send notification emails on form submission. If the general emails like WordPress reset password are working, Forminator notification emails should work seamlessly.

Could you please check if any error is being logged for Forminator notifications using an Email log plugin?

Additionally, can you please try to configure SMTP using Branda and check if that helps to resolve the issue?

Please let us know the results so that we can help you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

Hello, thanks for you help i apreciate it!
So, i downloaded the plugin ’email log’, and i have tried completing the form for two times. I also change the email that is sent the form but i didn’t received the email on any of them. On the plugin the checkbox is marked as sent.

I have not configured SMTP using Branda because, as far as i read it only helps the emails not getting into the trash folder. I checked both emails on the trash folder and they are not there as well.

    Hi @diomwbdv

Thank you for sharing the information.

I can see your email logs show the emails were sent successfully which means the WordPress email system is working fine and Forminator also was able to send the email but something is blocking the email along the way, from receiving the email, it could be hosting email service or a filter on the receiver email.

There might be some specific characters or sentences on your form notification that your email service marks as spam or inappropriate, and only your hosting can check those logs to find the exact cause.

Using a custom SMTP server usually fixes that issue, so I suggest setting up the Email SMTP using a plugin like Branda or you may contact your hosting to check the email logs on the server to find more clues about this issue.

    Kind Regards,
    Amin
