Back when I had a web site it was easy to modify and add to it. Gone for a couple months and I’ve got a blog and need training in php, css, html. WTF!
I can’t even get reCAPCHA to work. This really sucks.

    My pleasure. ??

Had a blog with Godaddy and used Quick Blogcast. It was easy. When I had a post, I could send out tags (I still don’t know where they go). You could also send out a few lines from your post. I was getting at least 1000 hits a week. If I knew more about all the new terms, what they mean and how to use them simply, blogging would be more fun.
I don’t know if I’m in the right place to ask these questions. It is like when I tried to join a few computer classes for seniors over the years. To advance beyond the simple stuff, you wound up in a class of folks who did not want to be bored with my questions. Discouraging.
Managed to fight my way through to get a blog going after trying two companies other than Godaddy. One of the biggest problems was that my password didn’t work, so had to be changed constantly.
Got a book on my Kindle and general info a little helpful, but the menus (I trust that’s what you call them) do not apppear as they do on Godaddy. Frustrating.
This is a bit o a rant, but even the stuf at the bottom of this box is completely confusing. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jeanne88. Also being a senior I can emphasize. Anyone around me that has a computer only uses it to e-mail.
I pretty much wore out this post and MacManX (James Huff). I would suggest a new thread and if I ever can help, I certainly will. I wanted to use Lightroom for photos and slide shows, etc. but so far it’s a bust. I may try Dreamweaver. So much to do.
Good luck and stay in touch, I’ll keep my eye out for you.

    Thanks for your reply, Skoville.

Will create a new thread. Tried to find a subject that some newbie threw out here. I wonder if it would help to have a search box on this site. Repetition seems to annoy some and I am sure others have had problems. Maybe they need an area without so much verbiage. No matter where I go for help on the internet, I must read on and on and do not understand much of it. they seem to want to ignore basics. And I mean basics. I could read Dummys books and how tos but I would rather get a simple explanations than plow through something that sounds like another language.
    Will try tomorow – – – again.
    Good night and good luck,
