I don't get how to deal with "index.html"…help!

  • Hi everybody,
    I just started to work on my website, but I can’t see it!
    If I try to open it (www.steuerberatung-heissenberger.at), I get a static page that says that I’m working on it. If I understood right that is the index.html, but what is that? What should I do to have my homepage under my URL https://www.steuerberatung-heissenberger.at?
    I tried also to rename index.html, but it didn’t work.
    Any help? I’m totally a beginner
