I assume that when you allow customers to create an account and log in that I would be storing sensitive data on my website. I did not want to be vulnerable So I do not allow account creation/login on my site. I figure if someone wants to check their previous orders they could search their email.

Are there any other benefits I may be missing by not having customers create accounts?

(I sell hot pepper seeds on my Woo site.)

    Hi John ??

It really depends on the business, guest checkout is beneficial to those occasional customers who do not frequently visit your site. If you are looking to create more frequent customers and engage them with your products, then you may want to go for account creation.

Here’s an article that explains the pros and cons of guest checkout vs customer checkout:

I hope this is helpful to you.
