I do not understand your numbers

  • When you talk of visitors, I don’t know whether you mean unique visitors.
    When you talk of visitors for the year, is that number the number of unique daily visits totalled over whole year?

    I much prefer to see graphs that display the daily unique visits of time.

    Hi @tedbel

    By ‘Visitors’ we do in fact mean ‘Unique Visitors’ or ‘Unique Users’ and the graph you see (in Analytify Pro) is showing unique visitors. Each unique visitor can have multiple sessions and each session has multiple pageviews.

    You did not answer the second question
    Is the monthly number of unique vistors the total of all daily uniqe vistors?

    Finally what interests me most is
    I made a screen shot of the center column and asked these questions but I can’t post it.
    Explain the percentages better.
    I thought the vast majority of my visitors are returnhing. This says otherwise. I have trouble believing that.

    Finally I want to see a graph of unique visitors over a time period of my choosing so I can see the trend graphically.
    Do you have such a graph?

    By unique visitors, I am simply referring to the users of your site. The visitors highlighted in the screenshot below are the total of all in the date range you have selected. In the screenshot, I have selected 30 days stats so yes, the monthly number of visitors is the total of each daily visitors of that month.
