all my pages are gone!!

  • For the version I found “You can update to WordPress 3.2.1 ” but that doesn’t tell me what version I have – where do you find that?
    In the title I lied (only slightly) I changed the banner code in “settings/BH settings”.

    This site was done for me (in a hosting package bonus) so I have not done anything to it. It was working fine, I’ve been looking at it (as an observer only) to try to understand how it works. I cautiously changed one banner code, waited a few hours … great! It worked perfectly. I changed another and waited.

    Later I could not get through to either of my wordpress sites – not available!!!
    When it finally came back my pages (not my posts) are all gone. So the whole front page is blank – it was so nicely set up.

    Where can I find them????
    Please walk me through step by step because I am new to this.

    Changing your subject title then, since you DID change something ??

    Your site comes up right now. So do your posts and pages. What’s wrong?

    So why for the better part of the day the whole center part was blank?

    When it went blank I did not try to change anything for fear of losing everything.

    Does this happen often that the site goes blank and then comes back later …. without doing anything to it??

    Is there a way to make a complete backup copy of the blog to be able to restore it – just in case? Forgive me please, I am new at this … perhaps there is a backup copy somewhere but I don’t know where it is.
