So I’m wondering what would be the best way to handle this. What I have is a database full of good data but with possible corrupted files. My problem is going to be the plugins.

If I have the tables in the database, and reinstall the plugins will I lose my data? or will the install recognize that the database tables already exist and not overwrite or wipe them clean?

If it’s the files that are corrupted, then a clean install will fix it. Just remember to not delet any of your uploaded files, or files in your theme that you’ve made modifications to.

Do you have any previous backup?

No, unfortunately I did not have another back up of the files that were on the live server.

Fortunately, I was able to fix my plugins without losing any of the data associated with them. Simply re-installing them fixed it.

    Thanks
