I deleted the themes … but they still show up and work ??

My guess is you are making changes and deleting themes in a folder that ‘is not part of your WordPress installation’

Typically themes are under the wp-content/themes folder. The wp-content folder resides in the same folder/directory as does the wp-config.php file.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have renamed the two index files so that you can see the directory structure.

You will see that I only have the one theme in the theme directory and it is “Jammed-Blue-10”

But if you click on the “1index.php” link to start the blog – you will see that the log is using “Leaf Green” theme !!!

How is this possible ?

If you look here you can see for yourself that you have many themes still left, which is exactly what MichaelH said.
