I deleted one Admin account and the remaining one can't see the Plugins screen

  • Can anyone help please?

    I read a number of posts recently about not having a user called ‘Admin’ as that makes it easier for hackers.

    I therefore transferred all posts to my other user account and checked that the other user account was set up as an Admin account, then deleted the user called ‘Admin’.

    Logging in with the other user account, I can now no longer see the Plugins screen to activate/deactivate plugins.

    I’ve tried going directly to the https://www.MYDOMAIN.co.uk/wp-admin/plugins.php page and it tells me I don’t have sufficient rights to access the page (or just bounces me to a login screen, but when I log in again, I’m just back to my dashboard without access to the Plugins page).

    How can I access all the functions of my site again please?
