I create a page and instead of it, I get a 404 error. What have I done?

  • I searched for my answer, but didn’t find the resolution in any of the posts.
    I’m using the Plain Vanilla theme, Dean’s Permalinks Migration, and AdSense Deluxe. I have other plug ins, but they don’t have anything to do with the page creation, as far as I know anyway. I know other people have had this issue, none of them seemed to get the fix needed from here though.

    Maybe they also forgot to give some details on what’s going on and how to replicate the issue? A link would be helpful too.

    Without any information, I’ll fall back to the standard:

    I’d say your Permalinks aren’t working. Check that page for troubleshooting tips.

    In particular, confirm with your host that mod_rewrite and AllowOverride are both on and enabled.

    If that’s off base, please respond back with more details. ??
