• Hi, my login credentials were working fine a few hours ago then suddenly something seems went wrong and could not log in anymore. I checked with my hosting provider (Blue Host) and I was advised that the issue is coming from wordpress: here are some facts I got from my hosting provider.

    – When they tried to log in with that user/pass it gave them a security warning for the https (which is fine since you do not have an SSL on your domain) and then redirected them to the log in page again.

    – No additional plug ins or new themes have been installed

    – They tried disabling the plug ins and reverting the theme to original to see if this would resolve the issue. That didn’t resolved.

    – The hosting provider has checked the plugins and themes, the settings in wp-config and in the database. They’ve checked the .htaccess file. Everything is set the way it is suppose to be.

    – They don’t see anything in the .htaccess file that would be causing this, and the URL in the database is correct.

    – Something in WordPress is redirecting the URL for my Admin loging to https://www.movein.ph/~homejoyp/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https://www.movein.ph/~homejoyp/wp-admin/&reauth=1

    – It should be without the ~homejoyp after your domain name.

Per my conversation with them, it’s for WordPress support to find out what is causing this.

Can you please help? Apologies but I’m not a developer. Im a simple home based trying to be online entrepreneur. So would apreciate if you can be detailed on your response and use word that is comprehensible to my level of knowledge.

    thanks!

    Mark
