I changed the Directory to list display names!

  • I almost had to delete the plugin until I figured out how to change the directory to display the “Display Name” chosen by user… Privacy is highly important with this forum and also if it displays the username there is a higher chance of the forum being hacked.

    So to all those who want to display the user chosen display name go into the file pm-class.php and edit all the user_name ( NOT admin_user_name) to display_name and save and woolaa! Done! there will be 13 instances that you have to change in that file.

    I did have an issue with writing a New Message and Reply message in that where the commands bold, italic, strikethrough, code, etc. where not showing up… I have attached a link to a photo i took with my mouse hovering over the error.

    There are no occurrences of user_name in the file pm-class.php. Perhaps something has changed between our versions.
