I change a gallery in one post, a gallery in another post changes too.

The same gallery appears in the first and second post. That was not my intention.

The problem — apparently — was that the code generated by NextGen pointed to the same gallery in both cases and for some reason, if I changed it in one place, it changed it in the other. So both used id-1478 and I have no idea where that id came from or how to change it.

I was able to get it to work by using short codes. With the short codes I could tell it which gallery I wanted where.

Still there’s a bug there somewhere.

@jgreen171, I have tried to reproduce the error installing and activating Mantra default theme, adding a gallery in two different posts, but everything works as expected.
Maybe you could test deactivating all other plugins but NextGEN to see if one of them is in conflict.

I am having a similar if not the same issue. My gallery id’s are unique but identical galleries are displaying on different pages.

I am using shortcodes

Is there a list of plugins that effect the gallery that can be found somewhere?

Any help on this would be much appreciated.
